Here’s our advice for seeing the mountains in October:
Slow down.
The goal isn’t to cover the most miles.
It’s to actually notice where you are.
Look across the ridges. Stop for the waterfall. Take the picture. Listen to the stories. Enjoy the people you came with.
You can rush through fall.
Or you can experience it.
