A lot of people ask me about the gloves I use. Contrary to popular opinion I believe natural latex gloves to be far superior to Nitrile. While nitrile (synthetic rubber) has better resistance to chemicals in select situations, automotive repair is not an environment that contains those chemicals. Below is the brand I use in medium size. Not only do latex gloves stretch extremely well and not tear completely when punctured, they also bio degrade quickly. I simply cannot stand using Nitrile gloves even when they are 9-12 mils thick!

Some brands I consistently trust in the automotive world:

• Denso• Aisin• NGK / NTK• Hitachi• NTN• KYB• Akebono

Most of these are major OEM Japanese suppliers, meaning they often made the original factory parts for many vehicles in the first place.

Just genuinely high quality manufacturers that tend to make solid, reliable parts. If I see these names on a box, I usually feel pretty good about it.

If I tell someone that I am not available in response to a service request… or on vacation, or not feeling well… etc and can’t perform tasks on their car… and they continue to hassle me anyway repeatedly requesting that I NEED to come out and perform the work despite this. I will permanently block them and never work on their car again. It takes very little.

I already provide extreme below market value and I don’t do business with or respond period to demanding or abusive customer tactics.
