⛽ E10 vs. E15: What’s the Difference?

🟢 E10 (10% Ethanol)
✔️ The long-standing standard gasoline blend.
✔️ Approved for virtually all modern gasoline vehicles, as well as many motorcycles, boats, generators, lawn equipment, and other small engines (always check your owner’s manual).

🟡 E15 (15% Ethanol)
✔️ Approved by the EPA for most 2001 and newer cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
❌ Not approved for motorcycles, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, generators, chainsaws, lawn mowers, and many other small engines.
⚠️ Using E15 in equipment that isn’t designed for it can lead to engine damage and may void the manufacturer’s warranty.

You may have noticed that some fuel stations in Ash Fork are now offering E15 (15% ethanol) instead of traditional E10 (10% ethanol) gasoline.

While E15 is approved for many newer passenger vehicles, it is NOT approved for many older vehicles, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, lawn equipment, generators, chainsaws, and other small engines. Always check your owner’s manual before filling up.
