Well it’s official but unofficial.. meet scooter, our baby squirrel mascot. Scooter came up to us while I was out front bringing in a clients bike. I think he needs some TLC so we are going to give him a little rehab until he’s strong enough to go out on his own. Let’s give scooter a warm welcome to the shop as he begins his baby squirrel rehab. Pretty sure he’s an orphan runt of the litter!

Here’s your reminder on why it’s so important to wear a helmet while riding! Seriously, I know all too well when it’s hot out it’s tempting not to wear one but when you do ride without a helmet you’re putting yourself at more risk than it’s worth. This helmet was worn from a friend who laid his scoot down over the weekend, while he sustained some gnarly injuries his noggin was safe and in the end everything else can be rebuilt but your brain cannot be rebuilt. Wear your gear people!

Don’t wait too long to get your bike work done, the weather is perfect for riding and it’s the best time of the year for a tune up before the snow flies. Ask me about my battery tender recommendations, make sure your bike fires up after you put them in for hibernation.
