Besides fixing trucks and cars I also fix flat screen TVs, recondition furniture, rebuild transmissions, and engines, With this business we also get odd ball trinkets like really old cameras, typewriters, antiques, scuba gear.. Gmc w4500 6.0 v8. Same vehicle as a ISUZU NPR-HD. This vehicle was throwing two codes p0171 and p0174. Lean on both banks. I ended up finding a gasket leak on the downpipe fl**ge coming off the exhaust Manifold. Turns out the downpipe fl**ge was warped. The client really didn't feel like paying $1000 for one side especially because the cat wasn't bad. So based on where the gasket was burnt and using a straight edge I was able to torch the each corner of the fl**ge to cherry red put a flat piece of 4 in steel on the top and basically forge the fl**ge back to its original shape.

1. Electric brakes and hub/drum assembly. Also a complete rewiring of the trailer electrical system. - a 1994 gooseneck dump trailer 18,000 lbs. 3 axles rated at 6k per axles. Brakes were missing and damaged. Replaced, greased and packed bearing and hub assemblies. Also rewired the 6 pin Trailer harness and ran fresh wires to most of the braking system.

Driverside window and acc switch stopped working. Checked for power from main relay box, to circuit breaker on the backs...

Driverside window and acc switch stopped working. Checked for power from main relay box, to circuit breaker on the backside of the fuse panel inside the truck and for power to the actual switch. Fuses and breaker were good, it ended up being a cracked wire in between the door.

Just a peak. Torque converter was creating excessive heat and slipping at high speeds. Didn't want a full rebuild so I just checked the condition of the hard parts and fictions. Passed pressure tests and stall tests. Pump was pushing 2 qts per 20 seconds.

Dave's chop shop. Client had ran into the back of a truck, they needed a new front end but had not damaged anything on the engine. So I took the job. They bought a sub frame with the radiator support for around $180. New hood, bumper, radiator and I was able to cut and weld it all together.

Finally finished. Gmc 1987 1500 suburban 5.7 350 comes to an end. Rebuilt engine and tbi injection system, rancho shocks...

Finally finished. Gmc 1987 1500 suburban 5.7 350 comes to an end. Rebuilt engine and tbi injection system, rancho shocks. Transmission, differentials, transfer case and power steering flush. New tranmission pump bushings and torque converter. And a fuel filter.. next update.. the audio system!
