At Bakersfield on the last chance to qualify we hurt a piston at about 700 ft which triggered the pan pressure switch. It was on a good enough lap to get us in but fate had other ideas. This was the only damage as all others were fine. May be a clogged nozzel. The best part was that all the bearings and pistons looked great and the test of my latest rod creation proved to be good. No crank issues at all.

I will have steel cases soon for my Nostalgia series pumps. Since I got word that NHRA has accepted my 20 and 21 gpm pumps I am working to build up inventory and testing equipment. It is a lot of work but fun for me.

40 years ago I built and ran the first series of my 3 valve heads on my Donovan powered funny car. In 1984 I switched to the 426 KB block and started to build a 3valve head for it. I was stopped for a year after meeting with Keith Black to try to get him to sell my heads thru his business. I was informed by him that he had 300 sets of heads of his own he could not sell and had no interest in selling someone elses. In late 1984 my heads were outlawed. By 1986 that had changed again and I started running my 426 style 3 valve head. Keep in mind that this started 35 years ago. I ran them until they were again outlawed in 1998 along with the 4 valve McGee motor. My first billet 3 valve heads were made and run before AJ or BAE heads were made. They have stock valve angles, accept the standard manifolds and exhaust and I believe they are the only answer to the high flow Ford motor that has been recently accepted in nostalgia fc.

A very good Bob Snyder photo from the 2020 March Meet where we qualified 3rd out of 15 on an early shutoff 6.13. It ran 3.877@197,54 at half track. This is a 6 year old 3 rail chassis from DB Hard Parts with clutch, billet manifold, fuel pump, connecting rods, blower mods, and so much more from the house of Hard Parts LLC

When you want good stuff sometimes you have to make it yourself. Forged billit aircraft certified ultra sonic American made material with 1/2 inch bolts torqued to 130 ft lbs. 9 years in development and use in Nitro powered Chryslers.
