Jerry’s General Automotive is owned and operated by Jerry & Alice Hudson. Jerry joined the Army in 1962 during the Cuban missile crisis. He served proudly until 1971 when he decided to return to civilian life. He was trained in the Hawk Missile field. So with this background in electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, and with a love of fast cars, he decided to work in the automotive repair field. After working for others for four years in 1975 he decided to go into business for himself. He put everything he owned up as collateral and acquired the Mobil service station at the corner of S. Cooper and Pioneer Parkway. He sold the station after 9 years and opened Jerry's General Automotive a few miles south on Cooper St. He has changed locations twice since then but thanks to GOD and our loyal customer base, he finally was able to buy property and build at the current location, 6404 S. We look forward to serving Arlington and Mansfield for many years to come.
