*****PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL SNOHOMISH COUNTY RESIDENTS *******

Please be aware of this selling scam. This just possibly happened to a customer of ours in Marysville, Wa on 3/10/26.

We want to help protect our customers and community and are offering at this time that if in the event you are selling a vehicle and the buyer tells you the engine is damaged and your vehicle starts smoking during your meet please inform the possible buyer that you have to take the vehicle to the mechanic the next morning before the sale and if it checks out you will be happy to sell to them. DO NOT sell a vehicle on if this happens. They are spraying or squeezing oil into the tailpipe, squirting some under the vehicle and or under the hood to make it look like the engine just blew.

Again, we at E&H Automotive are more than happy to look at a vehicle free of charge to determine if symptoms such as this are valid and not a scam.
We do not want to see folks in our Arlington area community being taken with this scam.
This would take a few moments to inspect the vehicle.

Smokey Point Boulevard/188th Street Roundabout Construction Project

Work will resume on the Smokey Point Blvd/188th St Roundabout project on Monday, February 2nd. Due to an unforeseen underground utility conflict, the sewer main replacement needs to be realigned and extended approximately 1,000 feet north of the original project limits to the 19100 block of Smokey Point Blvd.

Due to the size of the machinery and the location of the sewer main, a required road closure north of 188th St will be required to complete this work. This road closure is estimated to be completed in 3 - 4 weeks from the start date. The contractor will begin at the new north project limits and move south. An updated project limit map will be placed on the project webpage today.

When construction resumes, please use the designated detour route when traveling in this area. Local and business access will be allowed at all times during this phase, however, please expect short delays if traveling in the work area. No thru traffic will be allowed. The designated detour route is not a truck route. All trucks will need to use designated truck routes during construction.
