95 LS400 got some new cam and crank seals, with new timing belt and other maintenance items for the age. The rubber seals over time became hard and caused the leak.....

I've heard that manufacturers use peanut oil in the wiring looms and that's why they get chewed up......rebuild harness and spray area down with brake clean.
