The 1968 Kaiser Jeepster Convertible Deluxe restoration completed by our team here at RJ CARS INC.

Joe Labell bought this in 1991 and had it for many years. Joe’s son Doug hired us to restore it and we have been working hard the last two and a half years to bring it back to life.

The Deluxe model is a rarity among Jeepsters. This one came with a power top, console shift automatic, continental kit, air conditioning, Ramsey PTO driven winch, spinner hub caps and two tone paint.

We added some upgrades including modernizing the AC, front disc brakes, two inch lift kit, power steering, tinted glass, four barrel carburetor and electronic ignition.

The driveline consists of Dana axles, a 225 Buick Dauntless V6 and a turbo 400 GM transmission.

This was a rare and challenging one off build.

RJ CARS is looking for a Parts Specialist / Auto Restoration Assistant to join our team.

If you’re someone who thrives on organization, enjoys hands on work, and has an interest in classic cars and restoration, we’re looking for you!

What you’ll be doing:
-Managing and tracking parts inventory so everything is accounted for and easy to find
-Receiving, organizing, and distributing parts to keep projects moving efficiently
-Assisting with shipping, invoicing, and RO tracking
-Supporting our Parts and Services Manager with client communication and project coordination
-Helping restoration techs with assembly and component work when needed
-Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and running smoothly

What we’re looking for:
-Strong organization and attention to detail
-Good communication and professionalism
-Experience with email and Google Docs
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Ability to lift heavy items
-A team player with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
