BLACK SAPPHIRE HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS SERIOUS. 👀
Hector Carachure spent some time with the 2027 BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan, and the closer he got, the better it looked. M Double Spoke Black Forged Wheels in 19 up front and 20 out back. Staggered high performance rubber.

M Compound Brakes hiding behind black calipers. M Shadowline lights that take the entire front end darker. Then you open the door. The M sill plate lights up, the stitching on the wheel catches your eye, and that red start button sits there doing what red start buttons do.

KEY FOB DEAD? YOUR BMW STILL OPENS. 🔑
It always happens at the least convenient moment, and most owners have no idea their key has a blade hiding inside it.

Madison from our service team walks through the whole thing on an X5. Release the emergency key blade, pop the cover off the door handle, unlock the driver door by hand, and yes, the alarm will go off. She shows you how to silence it and start the car using the etched key symbol on the steering column.

Then she swaps in a fresh CR2032 and puts everything back exactly as it was.
Bonus at the end: how to send a remote unlock from the My BMW app when you are truly stuck.
