ATTENTION: HOFFMAN AUTO SHOP IS CLOSING IT'S DOORS AND BEING PUT UP FOR SALE

We have had an opportunity come up for a career change to allow us to spend more time with our son. I would like to thank everyone that trusted us with their vehicles for the past 4 years. At this time we are no longer taking in jobs. Tyrel will continue to fix the vehicles we have in the shop now but we will be trying to close at the end of the week. Thank you again for all the support over the years.

If you or someone you know might be interested in becoming a shop owner and running the mechanic shop as well as a tire shop, I will be listing all the lots as well as both shop buildings along with quite a bit of equipment and lifts, as well as fluids and filters. It will likely be around October before I have all the work done and our personal things moved out to sell.

Thank you everyone for your support over the years. We learned so much from running this small business, and we are thankful for that, but for now, this is what works best for our family.

We are starting our Maternity/Paternity leave this week. There's no baby yet, but since it could be at any time, it doesn't really make sense to take in much more work. We wouldn't want to leave people stranded with a vehicle broke down in our shop as we head to the hospital!
We were going to close for a month, but I think it may be longer, as I was going to take the full 6 weeks, and Tyrel may decide to just stay closed that whole time. Sorry about the weird time-table, but we will know better once the baby arrives and we've had time to adjust.

Head up on repairs going forward at Hoffman Auto Shop:
Right now, we have a least a weeks worth of repairs already here, if not more. All you have to do is glance at the front parking lot, or the lots around back, and see there is already plenty dropped off with us.
Also, Tyrel and I are having our first child in March, and when that baby comes, we will be closing for likely at least a month. The due date is March 18th, but babies rarely show on their due dates, so we can’t say for sure when we will officially shut the doors for a month, but it could be around that time.
We will be taking in less and less repairs as that due date approaches. As we already have a lot of repairs in now, we may start pulling back on how much we take in as we catch up here, especially very large repairs. There is still a month until the due date, but I want the word to start spreading now. Thanks! -Emilie

Update: they got it out, it was a piece of metal. We think things will be back to normal tomorrow. Also, metal rusts in your eye! If you ever think you could have metal in your eye, best to get it out as soon as you can.

We will be closing at 2:45pm today so I can take Tyrel to an emergency eye appointment to flush a piece of metal or something out of his eye. This seems to happen every couple of years, he should be okay, it just needs to come out!

The shop has been closed yesterday and today.

Usually I'm better about making these updates, but I'm the one who makes them and I've been sick since Saturday. I apologize if we've missed you at the shop, but between me being sick, and it being only tyrel working in an uninsulated shop in below freezing conditions, when we cant get parts from Wichita, it made staying closed the best choice for us right now.

We are looking forward to things warming up and hopefully less sickness soon! Tyrel has also been sick, but handling it better than me so far.

We will be closed next week to help family with a big move. Sorry we weren’t able to give notice sooner, you are knowing as fast as we are the dates of this happening.

We will not be taking in any new jobs until after we are back.

If we already have your vehicle in, or we already have you scheduled for repairs, we are still taking care of you. Tyrel will be working on everything he already has in and scheduled.

If you have trouble reaching us the week we are closed, and you need to for repairs you have in, we can still be reached on Facebook Messenger and by email [email protected]. Those will be the fastest, best way to reach us. You can also leave us a voicemail at 940-574-4887, but we will only be able to check the voicemail periodically.

Thanksgiving Hours Update!
These are our hours for this holiday week:
OPEN: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. (November 21st-November 23rd.)
CLOSED: Thursday, Friday. (November 24th and November 25th)

Usually we would be closed Monday because we try to close the second and third Monday of every month, but considering we would already be closed Thursday and Friday this week, we have decided to be open on Monday the 21st.
