Hey guys! I know this isn't really work related but I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Hall’s Automotive & Diesel Performance LLC .

Story time

I bought this truck last week. Drove it ALL DAY on Tuesday (without the camper) and everything was good. Tuesday evening I hooked the camper to it and drove for 40 minutes. When I got back in the driveway the tailpipes started SMOKING.

we had a non refundable trip planned to Cherokee on Friday, so naturally I was freaking out. I couldn't pull a camper up the mountain like that.

Since Friday was the fourth of July, everyone was closed and couldn't help me except for Logan at halls automotive. He was the best. We needed new injectors and a turbo (very expensive fix that I wasn't expecting) he had me out of the shop on Thursday, in time for our trip.

A good mechanic is very hard to find, but if you guys need a good honest one I completely and highly recommend him!!

▪️This truck came in with cylinder 3 contribution balance code. We did a compression check, which lead to pulling the head off to find a cracked piston! We were able to get this customer back together with a new piston and rod bearing. We also resealed the oil pan, fresh head gasket. New #3 injector and also the remaining 3 with fresh orings.
