Machine Builder / Heavy Fabrication Welder

TJ Automation Inc. is a family-oriented employer and is top in its field as a manufacturer of customized machinery. We are seeking qualified machine builders and welders.

Essential Functions

• Building custom automated machine following customer standards
• Work efficiently as part of a team and independently
• Work within a fast-paced environment to meet build schedules to maintain 100% on-time delivery

Desired Qualification

• Setup and operate metal working machines, such as 2 Axis knee mills, band saw, drill press and manual lathes
• Proficient use of Mig welder, plasma cutter and torch
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with focus in pneumatics
• Read and interpret specifications, manuals and assembly blueprints
• Strong mechanical and mathematic skills

Travel

• All expenses paid
• Vehicles provided
• Usually 1 week or less at a time
• Approximately 10% per year

Good Morning Everyone,

Same as yesterday, the shop is open and has been plowed but parking lot is icy. Roads may still be snow covered and are icy. Please let us know if you will not be coming in. Drive safe!!!

Good Morning,
The shop will be open today, if don't not feel comfortable traveling to work today please notify your supervisor and call the shop, as noted on Monday you will not be required to use vacation or sick time. The shop is plowed but the concrete is very icy, please be careful. Currently the national weather service is predicting another 3" to 7" throughout today and windy conditions. If you choose to come in drive safe!!

Attention all local veterans.
In honor of Veterans Day, students from the 8th grade class at Archbold Middle School would like to invite you to the Archbold American Legion for a free lunch on Thursday November 11th.
All local veterans and their spouses are invited to stop by the Archbold American Legion anytime between 11am and 1pm.
Lunch will include brats, hot dogs, chili, dessert and a drink.
Dine-in and carry are available.
Thank -you to all of our local veterans for your service...We look forward to serving you on November 11th.
