Looks Like It Passed…..No More Inspection Stickers.

House Bill 1085 passed 27-7 in the Senate.

Apparently the inspection sticker will be replaced by a $6 QR Code, mailed out with the vehicle owner's registration.

Commercial vehicles and school buses will still require vehicle inspections.

The new system is scheduled for Jan 1, 2027, with enforcement of the old system stopping after June 30, 2026.
