Well gang Jim Kilau (Jim’s Scooter Shop 1 (612) 868-6685) had 100 Tanks ran. Early, Late and 58 Highlander. If you need a tank call him and he will ship them out. I will have some at Portland Indiana VMBC meet. We are now working on having two hundred round factory air cleaners made next but it will take awhile. Here’s a picture of the Tanks in various stages of fabrication, all are finished now and on the shelf at Jim’s.

Just a reminder Arcadia Cushman Co. 200 W Main St will be open Saturday May 16th from 9-3. Please excuse my mess as we’re getting ready for the Vintage motorbike meet in Portland, Indiana at the Jay County fairgrounds June 1 through June 4. Then we’ll come home and regroup and head to the Cushman club of America national meet that’s in Abilene, Texas this year. We have had a very busy May and we’re gonna have a very busy June.

Arcadia Cushman Company is in Talking Rock Georgia at the Beautiful Talking Rock Camp Grounds for our spring meet. Saturdays Ride is heading out for a beautiful ride in the mountains.

Well, it's that time of year, and we're getting ready for our First Meet, which is the Spring SECC Meet. This year, it will be at the Talking Rock Motor Coach Resort in Talking Rock, Georgia, from Thursday, April 30th through May 3rd. Then, we return home to regroup. Arcadia Cushman Co., 200 W Main Street, Arcadia, IN 46030, will be open for walk-in sales, with sales hours from 9:00 to 3:00 on May 16th Then, on the 18th, I'm going to try to attend the Mid Ohio Scooter Club's Spring Meet and Ride in Ohio for some fun. I won't be bringing parts. Then, we load up two trucks and trailers for the VMBC Meet in Portland, Indiana, at the Jay Co Fairgrounds, from Saturday, May 30th to June 5th. After that, we'll be back home to unload and regroup, and then load up again for the Cushman National Meet in Abilene, Texas, from June 14th to Thursday, June 18th. It's a good thing I'm retired because I don't know how I could get all this done. 🙂 Just kidding; this is what our summers have been like for 30 years. I'm sure I missed something, that's for sure. I worked on getting things ready to load and also on the trailer. I also got back on the 12 and 14 tooth clutch plates, and they'll be done and ready to head out to the dealers on Monday.

Arcadia Cushman Co. 200 W Main St. Arcadia Indiana 46030 will be open this Saturday April 11th from 9-3. Last Friday I put my wood working apron on and thought I would build 10 mobile parts cabinets. I used to work in a cabinet shop 40 years ago so I do most all of my own work. Well I thought I would definitely have them all done in one day. Needless to say three days later I’m sore and tired, darn I’m not as fast and good as I used to be. Putting on the Cushman parts apron tomorrow and getting back on to what counts, starting on the much anticipated 12 and 14 tooth cast iron clutch plates.

Well it was a slow week at Arcadia Cushman, working on New America made clutch disk with lining’s. 50 done and 150 to go, starting 12 and 14 tooth this week hopefully. Couldn’t get by without my trusty old Starr rivet press, this job alone and she will perfectly press 1200 Rivet’s.
