Up for sale is this 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel. Yes, diesel! Runs good and drives good. Ice cold air good heat. Leather, heated seats, remote start satellite radio plus more. We have had this for a couple years now, just been driving it off and on. It did have an issue with the electric throttle control light coming on occasionally. Took it to Midwest diesel in Cantril and they replaced a seal.
Loaned us to my son, who is a school teacher in Chicago while his vehicle was in the shop. He drove it 7,000 mi in 5 months! No issues whatsoever. (He even took an unapproved trip to Ohio in it. 😏)
The good... Nice tires, had new brake pads installed, but we have been driving it. New rear wheel bearings. And as mentioned above nice air conditioning and good heat. all wheel drive works. Drives good and rides good. Cruise control works, Bluetooth for phone calls.
The bad... There is a few places where the rust is starting to bubble under the paint. But overall pretty decent for its age. The sunroof leaked, so I sealed it. I has a little shimmy when hitting the brakes, I'm assuming the front rotors, but it's not bad in my opinion. One small tear in the driver seat, other than that the interior is pretty nice. The remote start sometimes does not work, I believe it's the switch under the hood to keep you from starting it when the hood is up.
It is a high mileage vehicle, around 253,000 but I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere..
