🔧 Hofer’s Mobile Mechanics Is Fully Operational Again!🔧

We want to let our community know that our new OE-level diagnostic scan tool is arriving today, and we have also replaced the laptop used for vehicle module programming. After the recent theft of our equipment, we are officially back in business and ready to provide programming, diagnostics, and repair services.

Thank you to everyone who follows our page, shared our previous post, offered support, or reached out after hearing about the stolen items. We truly appreciate our community.

💻 Our current OEM programming support includes:

✅ Ford
✅ Mazda
✅ Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, and other GM vehicles
✅ Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and RAM through Stellantis

Toyota programming support is also planned for the near future.

What is vehicle module programming?

When a control module is replaced, it often cannot simply be plugged in and driven. Many modules must be configured, initialized, paired to the vehicle, or flashed with the correct factory software.

We come to your location and use licensed **OEM dealership software and approved programming equipment** to install factory calibrations, software updates, and vehicle-specific configurations—often at a more affordable rate than traditional dealership service.

Common modules and programming services include:

🔹 BCM body control modules
🔹 ABS and electronic brake control modules
🔹 Airbag and restraint control modules
🔹 Instrument clusters

🔹 Immobilizer and anti-theft systems

We also provide OE-level diagnostics, including full-system scans, manufacturer-specific trouble codes, live data analysis, bidirectional testing, module communication testing, relearn procedures, and guided diagnostic functions that many basic code readers cannot perform.

Please note that programming availability depends on the vehicle, module, security requirements, OEM subscription access, and whether the installed replacement module is compatible with the vehicle.

We had a Diagnostics Scan Tool and Programming Laptop Stolen out of our Vehicle today. The Scan Tool is a Top Don Pheonix Plus 2 and the Laptop is an ASUS Tuff Gaming A16 Advantage Edition Laptop. if anyone see's these on Facebook marketplace or community pages for sale Please Contract me Directly 361-717-4703

Website & Scheduling Update

We have temporarily removed the MechanicDispatch app from our customer booking process and returned to our original online service request form.

While the app introduced several useful features, ongoing technical issues were making the process less reliable than it needs to be. Our priority is making sure customers can request service quickly and without unnecessary frustration.

While making this change, we also completed several updates across our website to improve navigation, appearance, and the overall customer experience.

Any existing appointments, approved estimates, or scheduled repairs remain valid and are not affected.

Every repair situation has details, documentation, recommendations, approvals, and service history that may not be included in a public post. While we cannot disclose private customer information, we are always willing to explain our general procedures, warranty policies, diagnostic process, and how situations like these are handled.

We follow standard automotive repair practices, provide estimates and recommendations before additional work is performed, and maintain documentation throughout the repair process. We stand behind our policies just as firmly as we stand behind our warranties and the work completed by our technicians.

Our goal has always been to build a positive, dependable business that our community can trust. The purpose of our brand is to bring professional automotive service directly to your home, workplace, driveway, or parking lot while providing the convenience, communication, and accountability customers should expect from a legitimate repair provider.

Technicians can also use the app to apply for a 1099 subcontractor position with Hofer’s Mobile Mechanics, complete onboarding, upload required documents, and submit their skills assessment.

The app allows you to:

✅ Add and manage your vehicles
✅ Upload photos and supporting information
✅ Sign service agreements and authorizations
✅ Track appointment and job updates
✅ View inspection reports and documents
✅ Maintain your vehicle service history

The app is not yet available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. During the beta launch, open the app in your phone’s web browser and add it to your home screen. This creates an app-style shortcut for quick and easy access.
