~ before we dive too deep into the streets of Long Beach competitions happening over the next few weekends let’s take a second to talk about our newest driver on the team Frank ! He drove grid life last weekend and went in to take home a podium spot - all was looking well until unfortunately his car started throwing a CEL code at him in the middle of the weekend which resulted to him needing to pull the engine - due a cylinder running rich … here’s a direct comment from frank over this weekend——
“Sunday came around and this time the event was held at Big Willow. I was right behind a MR2 and Rx7. This moment was the defining moment of reaching the bottom. MR2 lost grip and spinned in front of us. Both the RX7 driver and I made a quick stop to avoid a collision. This event triggered the S2000 and started to misfire like it was the fourth of July. This was it. The engine was done.”

We can’t wait to see franks comeback and support him in this new season when he gets his car back on track . That’s what happens when you’re pushin hard and going for gold !

The 2022 formula drift season starts THIS WEEKEND in Long Beach , CA - the coolest thing about this “track” is that its re made every year…The set up lasts for a few weeks , and the race track is constructed on the ACTUAL public streets of Long Beach a different motorsport race is hosted each weekend until the track is torn down until the following year. Now THAT’S dedication . Will you be attending any events at Streets of Long Beach ?

Boost season 🏔 do you know WHY your car feels better when it’s a little colder outside ? It’s because as air temp gets hotter , it increases the density of the air - meaning that the oxygen levels decrease . Sooooo your turbo works twice as hard trying to create&compress as much air as it needs to preform as it normally would when temp is ideal . The colder the air - the better the boost . ✨Science✨

How many times in Motorsports have you heard “Girls don’t do that“ ? ~ In motorsports, that couldn’t be more far from the truth… That’s the best thing about driving and riding - we’re all just piloting a machine .
So the real question should be “why not?”
Fun fact : more than half of our sponsored athletes are girls, and they’re DAMN GOOD at what they do .

This is the Ferrari F40. One of the most iconic super cars of all time …
It was produced from 1987 until 1992, with other versions produced until 1996. It was designed for Ferrari’s 40th anniversary … the only produced 1,315 of them , its mid engine , rear wheel drive with a 2.9L twin turbo charged V8… It’s made up of carbon fiber and Kevlar body panels, bucket seats, and a 5 speed transmission with a gated shifter. The car had a lot of switches and was stripped to the bare minimum; No cup holders, no AC or heater, not even door handles - just cords to pull.
So… would you spend over $500,000 on this Ferrari ?
Oh… and they only came from the factory in red.

Have you ever owned a classic ? Driven one ?
Coming from a multi classic owner - there’s just something so inexplicably special about going back in time from the moment you grab the door handle and sit inside , it’s irreplaceable . So are the memories of mini heart attacks and hours spent broken down on the side of the road 😅 classics really make you feel like time slows down , even if it’s just for the drive .
