Help us out @ Turtle Beach Marina! 🐢
My wife Jennifer and I bought Turtle Beach Marina in Spring of 2019. We set a goal to make this Marina the best on the chain. Over the past five boating seasons there have been numerous changes to the property. After an unexpected fire in the bar/restaurant we had to completely change directions and figure out how we were going to move forward. After some long discussions we decided the original bar/restaurant would be too expensive to repair and we decided to tear it down.
The new plan was to build an awesome Beach Bar and a new storage building that we could eventually build a kitchen, gaming room, and bathrooms in. After a few years of permitting we were finally able to open the Beach Bar in July of 2023. It was a huge success! We had many neighbors who visited regularly throughout the summer. There were families who stopped by boat to let their kids enjoy the beach every weekend. The neighborhood kids would come and fish the docks before ordering some soda and a pizza. It really made this Marina one of the most family friendly places on the chain.
We are currently still in the permit process for the new kitchen but are in hopes for it opening during the 2024 boating season. With that being said we are looking to add 11 transient slips on the outside of our dock system to allow for nineteen Bar/Restaurant parking spots. As many of you know the current Bar/Restaurant parking is our outside rail. It can only hold about 10 boats. It puts the boats along the rail where the wake rocks them from boat traffic passing by. There are many customers who would love to stop by more often but don’t want to put their boat at risk on the busy weekends. Having the new transient piers would not only add space but it would help alleviate this issue.
If you are in favor of Turtle Beach Marina adding the transient piers, please click on the link below.
