Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician. In this role, you will be diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and diesel engines. Your expertise will ensure that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse heavy equipment, including trucks, industrial, construction and farm equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components of heavy equipment .
Utilize schematics, technical manuals and laptops to troubleshoot complex issues
Perform heavy lifting and assist with assembly or disassembly of large components during repairs.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
Prefer 3 yrs experience working as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, suspension components, air brakes and air conditioning
Hands-on experience with diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools(welding exprience and ability is a plus but not required)
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to support operational needs effectively.
Relevant certifications such as ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training are preferred but not mandatory.
Heavy lifting at times is required

We get questions about if we grind crankshafts -Yes we do -right here at our shop - wash, check for size, straightness and cracks, polish and grind them! We can also balance crankshafts!
