Effective immediately, we will no longer be offering free test drives and scans. Our new "Initial diagnostics" price will be $110 dollars. Includes one half-hour of time consisting of a comprehensive test drive, code scan as well as systems monitoring during the test drive. We will refund/wave the "Initial Diagnostics" fee if the customer has us rebuild and replace their transmission. Thank you for your understanding and trusting A-Tech Transmissions with your vehicle.

Homes are super affordable, cost of living is low, and it is a great small town to raise your family and pursue your outdoor hobbys. We are looking to add a technician to our team at A-Tech Transmissions in Antigo, WI! Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. We grant a full one hour lunch break each day. No working weekends. Paid major holidays and two weeks vacation time after one year. Duty's include professionally removing and reinstalling automatic transmissions, some general automotive repair, performing test drives as well as automotive diagnostics. Applicants need a clean driving history and current drivers license, their own tools (diagnostic scanners and some specialty tools are provided by A-Tech), be organized and keep a clean workspace, and must be comfortable with clear communication with customers in person and on the phone. Prefer 3 plus years experience as a general automotive technician or transmission specialist. Pay starts at $18 -$27 dollars per hour based on abilities and experience. Thankfully, we are still very busy here at the shop with rebuilds. So much so that we are unfortunately not able to take in small repairs or transmission fluid and filter changes. We need to keep our effort focused on keeping the schedule and getting vehicles back on the road for folks. Currently 4 to 6 weeks out for transmission rebuilds. Thank you all for your understanding and amazing support! It's truly appreciated 😊

This fun build is a 68RFE for a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7L diesel. The customer wanted a transmission that would handle up to 600HP. Ended up with a Transgo Tuneless shift kit, triple Disc torque converter with a billet input shaft and some other updates and goodies. He also has 15% more holding power in his overdrive system 💪. This very rare 69 1/2 Dodge super bee belongs to a racing hall of famer and is winning some shows! We are very proud and excited to have our transmission as part of this build.
