Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting the driver of this 2017 Ford F350. He was experiencing some brake system issues while hauling equipment down to Texas.

While we were originally told the brake pads could use replacing, further inspection revealed the caliper pistons to be cracked😱😱😱.

A new brake caliper was fitted for this customer along with brake system bleeding to get him back on schedule. ✅️

We had a great evening getting this 2006 SAAB 9 3 V6 Turbo back on the road with this water pump replacement. The previous water pump shaft seal had failed along with major play in the pulley bearing due to a long previous road life.

Today we had the opportunity to assist a very kind family of SAAB owners who were referred to us.
We started off the day replacing a serpentine belt on a 2007 SAAB 9 5 4 cyl turbo in which the belt had deteriorated and jumped off the serpentine belt pulleys due to oil contamination.

Following replacement of the belt, we absolutely pledged to determine the cause of the belt damage as well as the source of the oil leak in order to prevent this from reoccurring.

We performed Thorough oil leak diagnostics on the vehicle ruling out all known potential oil leak locations such as the engine oil pan, oil filter housing, turbocharger oil lines, and the lower timing chain cover.

Upon further inspection of the upper timing chain cover, we discovered a steady oil leak which was making its way down the back of the engine block and onto the serpentine belt. We recommended this vehicle a new timing chain cover gasket and/or reseal.

The 2nd vehicle we performed leak diagnostics on today was a 2006 SAAB 9 3 V6 turbo which had recently developed a coolant leak along the side/rear of the engine block. Upon further inspection we traced the coolant leak back to the water pump, which is very common given the high miles of this vehicle.
