Ross Sails Ross Sails & Ullman Sails builds custom sails and services sails and canvas in Annapolis Maryland. Sailsforless.com is my personal sales site.

My name is Steve Ross and I am the sailmaker and loft manager for Ullman Sails Annapolis. I learned to sail as a small boy on the Chesapeake Bay and have been hooked ever since. After a few years in the Army, I went to St. John's College here in Annapolis. While at SJC I apprenticed at Quantum Sails and began my journey as a sailmaker. After graduating from SJC I tried to be a boat broker for a few years before going back to Quantum. I spent a year working for Hinckley but quickly tired of powerboats and found a home with Ullman Sails to head up their Annapolis loft.
