We want to congratulate Tony Szirka on his overall win at the 2026 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge at Eagles Canyon Raceway! His fastest lap of a 1:55.222 was a full 1.5 seconds clear of 2nd place.

We are sad that his Evo caught fire towards the end of the event, but we know he will rebuild it to be faster and stronger than ever before. At least he brought home a 1st place trophy to numb the pain!

Thanks Tony for choosing Cobalt to slow down your rocketship and we’re glad the pads are performing so well for you. We wish you the best of luck on your rebuild and can’t wait to root you on in 2027!

Winner! Congratulations to Daniele Hovington for her Race 2 PRO3 Racing win during this past weekends IRDC race at Ridge Motorsports Park!

She was testing out our XR3 and XR5 Cobalt Pads on her BMW E30 for the first time and really liked them; setting a new PB and getting a win to end her season!

Thanks for giving our pads a try Daniele and we’re glad they worked so well for you!

SCCA Runoffs National Champion by .007!! Congratulations Perry Richardson on winning the Prototype 1 class at Road America in his Stohr WF1. The last few laps were a fantastic battle between him and Jason Miller exchanging positions multiple times. Jason’s car had the top end power but Perry had better handling and used his Cobalt Brakes to reclaim the lead multiple times. He was able to hold on by about half a foot at the line. What a race! Congratulations to and his team!

Bump drafting in Spec Miata Qualifying at the Sports Car Club of America Runoffs! Ride with our guy David Moreno for part of a lap from today’s session where he qualified P19. We look forward to rooting him on in the race on Sunday Morning!

We’re excited to root on our customers at the Sports Car Club of America National Championship Runoffs next week at Road America! A year’s worth of work comes down to one race to try and win gold.

David and Chris Murray have been staying busy in the SCCA Detroit Region. The duo brought home a P1 and P3 this weekend sharing the Immortan Automotive Miata in some pouring wet conditions at Michigan International Speedway! Cory Gordinier also competed in his red NA and brought home a P4.

A very close 2nd place for Jared Sector One Design at Global Time Attack at the Ridge! Here’s his nice looking P2 lap running a 1:40.9 in Street Class Supra. He almost got the win and lost by a tenth!

This lap was good enough to reset the class record by a second before getting surpassed later in the weekend.

Our Cobalt equipped drivers in the PNW Spec Miata Tour killed it up at the Ridge Motorsports Park!

Brennan won his first ever tour race in the mini enduro with Lorenzo finishing second! Austin won the Saturday sprint race and Kyle finished second in the Sunday sprint race!

Congrats on the success to all of our NW Miata drivers and thanks for trusting us to be a part of your programs.
