The latest news on Brown EFI: We are starting to get parts in and plan to start shipping in the next couple of weeks. We have orders on the board and working to ship kits.

Will have discontinued the 4 TBI setup until supply issues have been resolved. The 2 TBI works great on the 140 engines and we can provide block-offs.

The new 2-TBI kits will include the 6025 EFI Distributor, Fuel Damper, Fuel Pressure Gauge, and WBO2 Controller and Sensor. The increased cost of the kit ($100) was to cover the WBO2 from our supplier. The wiring harness now includes a tap for Tach and power and signal for primary and secondary WBO2.

If you have a bonified order for a 140-4 TBI, we have you covered. Others that are on the 2 TBI list can purchase the WBO2 separately or pay an extra $100. Cores or core costs must be shipped or paid to be considered a bonified order.

Fuel Pulsation Dampener (FPD)- Starting 1 Sep 2021, we will include an FPD on all new kits. We have found that some fuel rails have a pulse/Wave that creates a lean condition at certain RPMs. This pulse is determined by the length/size of the fuel line, pump speed, injector frequency, and distance from the fuel pressure regulator. The use of the FPD will smooth out the injection pressure making it easier to control and tune under all circumstances. This is also suggested for users that already have our kit and installs between the engine and body.

Dual TBI Control? You can have two (2) O2 sensors on your Corvair engine and each O2 sensor will correct/adjust the corresponding Throttle body for the perfect burn where it's for performance or economy. This is the highest level of control for a dual throttle body setup. Most ECMs can only correct one (1) AFR table and apply to two (2) or more TBIs

Dual exhaust is easy, but if you have a single exhaust it's no problem. One goes close to the exhaust log on the driver's side and the other where the 2 sides meet (normal location).

As of 15 Mar 2021, Clarks Corvair will no longer be a reseller of the Brown EFI kit. This will allow us unrestricted sales, realistic core pricing, and overall lower kit prices. If you bought your Brown EFI kit from Clarks, NO WORRIES...we will continue to support/warranty....No Problem. This was not a bad thing and we want to thank them for all the years they sold the Brown EFI kit.

New Cylinder Head Temp Gauges and sending unit undergoing testing. Will keep everyone informed. Price target is $89 w/thermistor (sending unit). These are calibrated at 350 degrees (where they spend most of their time) and close at the 225 and 475 (misprinted as 425 f)
