Is your smartwatch doing this without you realizing it? 👀

Your smartwatch does have some really great safety features … but they might be a little too sensitive while you’re on the water and could cause problems. 😬

👉 False alarms tie up rescue teams
👉 Check your device after hitting rough water. Sometimes you can cancel it before it connects.
👉 Make sure you can hear your phone over the engine.
👉 If 911 calls you, pick up and let us know you're ok or call us right back.

Help us keep emergency resources free for real emergencies.
