Here is a 2018 Ford F-250 with a 6.2l engine. It came into the shop with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC); P0300, P0301, P0303, and P0304. We diagnosed it with a broken intake valve spring on cylinder #3. We replaced the valve spring, valve seal and rocker arm. The truck runs perfectly fine now with no check engine light.

It is with great sadness that our sweet girl Aminta passed away this morning. She has been at the shop with us everyday for nearly 13 years. She has been blessed to receive love and treats from so many of our customers and delivery drivers. Please give us a little grace over the next few weeks as we adjust to this loss. This vehicle with 96,000 miles was in the shop for a service on the rear differential. The rear cover was removed with the ambient temperature at 20 degrees.

Look at the cavitation (air bubbles) in this gear oil with the rear cover removed. The air will not lubricate the drive gears and leads to premature bearing failure.

We have extremely brutal conditions here in Alaska during the winter. We recommend you have your fluids checked and serviced if needed. We always recommend using full synthetic fluids.
