Note the addition of the one-off titanium intake tube. Dumping down right into the front bumper for the CAI effect. 👌🏾 This project was the epitome of what Werd Werx is about. High-Lev Resto-Mod (or OEM+) styling to revive these 30+ year old icons to give them a whole new life.

East Coast Wagon - Zinc, Powder & Assembly

When you do one, you gotta do them all. It felt like I just kept finding bolts and brackets that need to be gold zinced and powder coated. Multiple batches were had. Anything that was rusted out was replaced with parts from our rust free CA junk yards, and then it was powdered and zinced to protect from future east coast ventures. Non salvageable M6 bolts were replaced with bolts.

Also, at this time the engine was assembled with all new seals and clean parts, valve cover powder coated and wire harness modified to fit the fresh H22A Euro-R.

I never took the time to post the complete photo gallery of the East Coast Wagon. Lots of documentation to be shared, so enjoy!

Here in beautiful CA, we aren’t used to seeing this much rust on cars. So I was like oh hell naw, there’s no way we are swapping this car and putting all the rusty bolts back. So it very quickly turned into a complete under hood restoration. Stripping the bay of all rusty bolts and brackets, and following that with a fresh coat of gloss black to finally match the exterior of the car. And as always, if we a swapping, then the engine is getting a reconditioning and reseal.

Let’s get back to posting, shall we?

Throwback to this 5th Generation Prelude project I finished up early 2025. Never got around to posted prior to the hiatus. The car was completed with a fully rebuilt H22A4 done by . Also converted to 5spd with a T2T4 L*D transmission, managed by a fresh HA Motorsport P5M ECU. Custom brakes with the valve cover to match. And topping it off with a shifter box and cables. This car went from burning tons of oil and slipping gears to a whole new life and ripping gears. 🤙🏾

I dont work on these cars. But when I have the opportunity to save a client over $10,000 and save their dream car, I’ll take the job. Long story short, This client reached out to me distraught about their situation. With only 60k miles, their transmission had imploded due to a poorly done rebuild prior to their ownership. Parts were left loose on the inside and the countershaft expanded and broke the case. Honda dealers quoted them $17,000 to replace the transmission with new, meanwhile the client is still working to pay off the car. The transmission was no longer useable or rebuildable. So I made it a mission to find a solution and luckily was able to source a used transmission with less miles than the car from a reputable auto dismantler in Florida. We were quick to make the purchase, get it shipped to the shop, and now this customer has his dream car back at nearly 1/3 of the cost of the original cost. It’s jobs like this that remind me that it’s more than just wrenching. ✌🏾

Another wagon, another day. In for suspension overhaul including bushings, ball joints, Prelude front calipers and rotors, Street Advance Coilovers, and 5 lug conversion with the help of rear bolt-on CE1 wagon set-up! Also got some much needed EGR port cleaning and a new catalytic converter to help it pass CA smog with flying colors. 🤙🏾

Recently finished up this suspension and brake overhaul and upgrade plus 5 lug conversion on this 91 Accord LX! From bone stock 163k suspension components to customer provided coilovers, bushings, all new ball joints, bolt on 5 Lug conversion, and topped it off with a custom set of calipers on the front, and color matching the rears.

Suspension overhaul for this 100k mile ‘94 EX. Bushings, ball joints and a 2” drop courtesy of springs and KYB AGX struts. Also took this time to do a hub conversion away from the captive brake rotors up front. Now rocking Acura CL hubs, with quality brake rotors. Reliability, smooth ride & solid suspension for this super clean low milage daily driver.

Revival, restoration, upgrades and correction of this beloved Prelude. Swapped with a JDM H22A years ago and been surviving on bootleg smog checks, but can now finally go pass legal smog checks again. The JDM H got a full reconditioning, corrected and replaced parts that would allow the engine to run again like a stock Prelude H22A4. Everything from the ECU, oil pump, distributor & coil, bolts & brackets, wiring specifics, and even a thermostat housing had to be corrected! Along with a CARB legal header (just one ☝🏾) and intake tube.

also want to take this time to upgrade and maintain the suspension. With a combo of , , , and ST sway bars, nearly every part was replaced, and given attention. Even a new set of shoes!

This all was no easy feat. Took lots of time, patience and of course 💰. But this car means something to , and he’s just getting started. Thank you for your business! ✌🏾
