What is the Odawgs 6.0 Compound Kit capable of? 🐾

This 2006 F-250 ran the Odawgs compound kit with a KC S3R and S480, 430/150 7mm Warren Hybrids, a KC Turbos twin-pump HPOP, and a built engine from J&K Engines. Advances in ICP and EBP control continue to push VGT compound performance forward.

On fuel only, power increased from 769 hp at 4000 psi ICP to 920 hp at 5000 psi ICP at the same 1.8 ms fuel pulsewidth, clearly showing the impact of higher commanded ICP. At higher pulsewidth and commanded ICP levels, this combination exceeded 1000 hp on fuel only while maintaining controlled drive pressure.

The back-to-back dyno pulls shown here highlight how much the Odawgs compound setup responds when proper pressure control is applied.

This setup also reached 1404 hp with nitrous, as shown in the full dyno sweep.

I bet you didn’t know we offer upgraded 6.0 Powerstroke cylinder heads from Kill Devil Diesel. 🐾

We offer these KDD heads because they are engineered for the higher heat, pressure, and load seen in performance and heavy-use Powerstroke applications. Each head starts as a heavy-duty casting thicker than OEM, then goes through a full inspection and proprietary machining process. This includes a multi-angle valve seat profile for improved sealing and heat transfer, corrected valve height to eliminate excessive lifter preload, and deeper valve recession for increased piston-to-valve clearance. The gapless O-ring system is pressed directly into the casting and is the same design proven in Diesel Power Challenge testing.

Every head is pressure-tested to 60 psi and assembled with all-new valves, valve springs, retainers, locks, seals, freeze plugs, and sleeves. Springs are individually tested and matched, and ports are vacuum-tested to verify proper sealing. Additional features include tungsten carbide seat inserts, press-in iron-matrix guides, upgraded casting thickness, and optimized valvetrain geometry. These are 100% new cylinder heads with no core charge required.
