The CARS team is a group of like-minded individuals within the automotive industry who believe in honesty and professionalism to improve the experience of all who are part of the industry. This includes Consumers, Technicians, Service Writers, Independent Repair Facilities, Engineers, and Manufacturers. The mission is to provide training, assistance, and input to achieve a much more efficient and

cost effective experience. All of our CARS team professionals still work in the repair industry and are ASE Certified, as well as members of NASTF, SAE, and iATN. CARS is an iATN sponsoring member as well. Its nearly impossible for the average consumer to distinguish whether someone knows what they're doing, or if they can just talk like they know what they're doing. The top picture is of someone who works at a carwash/lube shop. These people are not trained in anything except how to drain and refill oil. They take one day to train, then are trusted to know how you should take care of your vehicle. The man in the second picture is a certified ASE Master Technician. He can tell you how every aspect of your car works, diagnose it, and repair it to factory specifications. But how would you know the difference? In our consumer courses we explain how to distinguish the difference, what to look for, what knowledge they may have, and most importantly, if they're doing it right. If you need quick answers, we also offer repair estimate consultations. We can review your estimates given to you, look at the reasons for the recommended repairs, cost of the repairs, and help you to make an educated decision from a professional, unbiased, point of view.

The first photo is of a customer's repair order from the dealership. See how little information is conveyed- if you leave it vague, there is room to wiggle.
The second photo shows an Independent repair shop's i invoice. There are steps showing cause/correction and information being clearly and openly presented.
>>Question: Which one would YOU feel more comfortable with?

Be careful what you stick and where you stick it.
After discussion with the customer found out that her fiancé had put a breakfast burrito in about a week and a half prior when he went surfing.
Luckily it did not leak and caused no damage
