Featured Unique Classic of The Day: The 1914 Knox “Little Six” 🏁

The “Supercar” of its time the Knox “Little Six” was anything but little! The Knox Model 46 carried a massive 496-cubic-inch inline six-cylinder engine, larger in displacement than many V8s that came decades later.

It rode on roughly a 134-inch wheelbase and stretched about 195 inches long. It stood approximately 84 inches tall, nearly 7 feet.

Like many automobiles of the era, braking was handled mechanically at the rear wheels, operated through hand and foot controls.

Because early roads were rough and tire failures were common, the Knox carried two full-size spares!!

Only six Model 46 “Little Sixes” are reportedly known to have been produced, with just two believed to survive today.

The Model 46 reportedly sold for around $4,350 in 1914, putting it firmly into the luxury-car category.

This Motor Monday we feature the 572 Big-Block. 🏁

The custom Car community experienced a massive boom during the 1990s and builders were searching for high displacement big block engines. At the time, this area was dominated by aftermarket companies. GM / Chevy wanted to provide a fully engineered factory supported alternative and released this 572 cu. In. / 727hp. / 680 lb.-ft beast in 1998. 🛠️

What vehicle would you put this in? 🤔

Today we share six interesting facts about the 1961 Continental. 🛠

1: The 61 Lincoln Continental is celebrated as the vehicle that saved the Lincoln brand.

2: Despite being smaller than its rivals like Cadillac, intensive soundproofing and construction, made it the heaviest car in it’s class.

3: The su***de door design was adopted to make getting in and out of the cabin much easier.

4: this four door convertible is legendary as being the only mass produced car of its kind and its era.

5: To prove the exceptional build quality, Ford back the car with an industry first two year, 24,000 mile warranty.

6: This 1961 Lincoln was the first bass produced American automobile built to tight aircraft manufacturing tolerances.

Take cruise in this 1955 Power Wagon. 😎

Some the work we did to this one includes:

Say hello to this 1955 Dodge Power Wagon. Our goal was to preserve the original character while bringing the drivability, safety, and electrical up to modern standards.

We added a Full 12V conversion with a brand new 12-circuit harness, new battery, power/ground cables, and a generator-look alternator. EFI conversion with a new fuel tank, fuel system, and remote oil filter setup. Added in-line power steering and an aftermarket overdrive with custom driveshafts so it can actually cruise.

We rebuilt brakes + master cylinder, electric fan, high-output LED headlights, GPS speedo, dual power wipers, turn signals, chrome grab handles, RV electric steps, black seat belts, outside visor, bed mat, custom canopy frame with canvas top, and a Bluetooth sound system with 6x9s and a power outlet in the bed. Old soul. Modern reliability. Built to drive. 🛠️
