In this case, the rusted and accident damaged panels were left in place. The replacement sheet metal was an overlay and brazed into place. God Bless Randy for having the patience to tackle this one. 😎

Thank you to for making this possible. It is truly unbelievable that this race is possible to pull off considering the countless challenges. Saludos to all the other teams, builders, and service teams. Thank you to the people of Mexico who continue to turn out to watch the spectacle and cheer on the participants.
