Towel Warmer Addition

In the last two homes I owned, I installed electric towel warmers in the primary suite bathroom. My spouse and I have become spoiled by having a warm dry towel to grab after showering so I was determined to find a way to add a towel warmer to my RV. I found this 110V towel warmer from K&Kalonzo on Amazon which is offered in a 1, 2, or 3 bar version in silver or black....

Slide leaks can be very difficult to diagnose. Thankfully I was able to quickly determine the source of the leak on my client’s destination trailer this morning and fix the issue. Unfortunately the slide had been leaking for nearly a year so the slide floor has a rotted section now. 😔

The problem was that the slide was improperly adjusted vertically so the bulb seals were not making good contact with the wall. I adjusted the slide mounts and ran the slide in and back out. Now the slide makes good contact with the wall both while extended and retracted.

Today I helped a client determine why one side of the slide in the bedroom was no longer working.

The client had already removed the motor from the non-working slide and tested the motor, which was working fine.

I investigated and found that the motor coupling had broken laterally. Now we’re just waiting on the manufacturer to send a new coupler since the trailer is still under warranty.
