We're in the process of rebuilding the lower unit on this beautiful Boston Whaler. It was stuck in forward, and we found that the shift cradle was damaged and the shift lever was broken. Repair in progress! We'll keep you posted!

New project here at Backbay Boat Works! We used Evinrude software to complete a diagnostic. We will have to replace the throttle position sensor. She'll be pulled out of the water over the next couple of days to finish our work!

Backbay Boat Works is hiring! We have an immediate position available. Duties vary but include boat blocking, pressure washing, detailing, painting, as well as light mechanical work. Experience is preferred but not required - we are willing to train the right person. Applicants must be enthusiastic and motivated. Position can be full time or part time, with salary commensurate with experience. Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from Backbay Boat Works.
