Racors. Your fuel system’s primary defense.

During the final stages of a 1000-hour winter project, we discovered dirty Racor bowls. The initial image shows the bowls coated in algae, a common issue in diesel fuel systems. The remaining pictures show how we cleaned the bowls, with the last two images revealing their newly cleaned and painted state.

We recommend this maintenance every 1000 hours for boats in the Northeast and every 500 hours for those in Southern regions.

Marine Diesel Technician- Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
Growing waterfront marine diesel repair facility located in Amityville is looking for an experienced diesel technician to join our team. Work will be split between in-shop repairs and mobile work throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. In addition to standard preventative maintenance this candidate must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and successfully repair common diesel issues. Salary based on experience. Willing to train an experienced truck technician.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Marine or on-road diesel experience.
- Clean drivers license.
- Minimum 5 yrs. of diesel experience.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly, and work under high pressure
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work in tight quarters- vessel engine rooms.
- Ability to work overtime as needed during peak volumes
- Must own his/her own tool set

Marine Diesel Apprentice- Full time
Growing waterfront marine diesel repair facility located in Amityville is looking for a mechanically inclined individual looking to learn a new trade. In this position you will be working alongside our lead mechanics as you learn. In addition to assisting our lead mechanics this individual will also be expected to do yard work including hauling, blocking, power washing and bottom painting vessels.
The ideal candidate will have:

- Clean drivers license.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly, and work under high pressure
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work in tight quarters- vessel engine rooms.
- Ability to work overtime as needed during peak times
