We are a locally owned family operated business. We go runner up for Best Auto Repair Shop in Story County for 2016. In 2017 and 2018 we won the Best Auto Repair Shop in Story Country. In 2007 as the economy shifted and changed we changed right along with it. Sinclair Corporation was looking to make changing so we had to also. We started to look for a place to either move the business or expand the business. In April of 2007 we found a location just one block east and one block south of our Hansen Sinclair location at the corner of Lincoln Way and Duff. At 128 Sumner Avenue Mark Hansen’s Complete Automotive Repair Service, (CARS) was born. As an expansion of the repair services offered at Hansen’s Sinclair now we do anything from vehicle inspections, oil changes, brake and suspension services all the way up to engine and transmission replacements. We also work on complete air conditioning services and systems. In 2009 we added used car sales and consignments on a situation by situation bases. As the times change and vehicles get more and more advanced we will change with the times so we can also provide you the best service possible. Stop in and see what we can do for you.

Inspect all four tires and, if you have one, the spare tire as well. Look for cuts, gouges or sidewall bulges. Insert a quarter upside down into grooves to check tire tread. If you see the top of George Washington’s head, it is time for new tires.

Check tire pressure when the car has been idle and tires are cool. Inflate as needed to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended pressure. You will find it listed in the owner’s manual and on the sticker of the driver side door jamb. Do not use the number on the tire sidewall.

Duties would include working around the shop (oil changes, tires, sweeping etc) to mowing, delivering customers, running for parts etc. We will train so don’t worry about experience or tools. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in the automotive repair field. We offer a competitive package based on experience. The candidates picked should have their own tools. This candidate should be able to do anything from changing engine oil to diagnosing engine lights and repairing suspension, brake, and engine components. If the candidate picked and also replace the engine and transmissions that is a plus.
