If you have a vehicle located at 413 West Patterson Street in Americus, it needs to be moved as soon as possible. This is the shop that James Brown was in. Junkyard Dave also stored vehicles on this property. The property owner is taking the necessary steps to get all vehicles legally towed off of the property at the vehicle owner's expense.

Peacock Towing is proud to support our community and local students!
Over the past few weeks, we have donated vehicles to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office to be used for DUI education programs for the local high schools. These hands-on resources will help students better understand the consequences of impaired driving and the importance of making safe choices.
We are happy to play a small role in helping educate and protect the community!

Are you looking for a new career? Come join our team! We are looking for a light duty driver with an exceptional driving record. If you have your CDL, that is a plus, and driving heavy duty is possible. Our insurance requires you to be at least 25 years old. Normal working hours would be 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday with one night per week and one weekend per month on call. While those are "normal" working hours, the towing business is not "normal" so there would be days you may have to start early and/or get off late. If that is a problem, this job is not for you. Due to the on call schedule, we do require the employee to live within 15-20 minutes of our shop in Americus. We are a 100% drug free workplace and all employees are subject to random drug testing. If you can't pass a random drug test, don't waste your, or our time. The pay for the job will be discussed once we review your driving record.
