Words from owner; Lane Davis
I started Tintology when I was pretty young. At the time, I was working a minimum-wage job, but I knew I wanted to build a business. Not only for myself, but for my community as well.
I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, and that entrepreneurial spirit has always been a part of who I am. From the beginning, my goal has been to build something I could be proud of while giving back to the local community that has supported us along the way.
Over the years, Tintology has been awarded Sumter’s Best and has been recognized in the Times Recorder for outstanding service. What started as a small business has continued to grow and thrive, and we’re always looking for new opportunities, ideas, and projects to take on.
Today, Tintology has expanded beyond traditional automotive tinting into larger and more specialized projects, including heavy machinery tinting, storefront and business window tinting, and a variety of cosmetic tint applications. Tintology is now offering our own tint-safe window cleaner. We’re constantly exploring new products, techniques, and projects so we can continue to offer our customers the best possible services. We are proud to partner with many local businesses such as Perry Brothers and West Chatham. We appreciate all of our partners including other small business owners, body shop owners, local counties, and of course our county.
At Tintology, we believe in using only high quality products that we can stand behind. At Tintology, we offer carbon and ceramic film in automotive because they will never change color over time giving that blue or purple faded appearance. We do not sell a dyed-film for that reason, and it offers no benefit in heat reduction and heat reduction is something we all need in South Georgia! I back our products and services with a lifetime warranty because I truly believe in what we use and the work we provide.
Most importantly, I believe in treating every customer like family. The relationships we’ve built with our customers and our community are a huge part of what makes Tintology special, and I’m grateful for every person who has trusted us with their business over the years.
