The dogs (pictured below) made the final call on this one. 😂

This homeowner wanted some privacy and to knock down the heat and glare coming through the front windows, but she had one concern: she didn’t want her dogs scratching up film installed on the inside.

No problem.

Instead, we installed Edge Cool Alloy exterior reflective film on the outside of the glass.

☀️ Less heat
😎 Less glare
👀 Added daytime privacy
🐕 Safe from curious paws on the inside

There’s usually more than one way to solve a window problem. Sometimes you just have to think outside the glass. 😉

We tint more than cars.

😂 WARNING: Ceramic Window Tint Can Become a Family Addiction!

It usually starts with Dad saying, “I've had a dyed tint my whole life, and it's always worked just fine for me!”

Then the son gets ceramic tint on his car...
Dad rides with him one afternoon and realizes just how much heat that ceramic film is keeping out. 👀

A few weeks later, Dad's back at the shop upgrading his own vehicle.
Then Mom starts complaining that her car is hotter than everyone else's.
Next thing you know, Mom's getting ceramic tint.

Then Sister wants it because she's tired of being the only one in the family driving around in a fishbowl. 🐠

Before you know it, the whole family is riding around with ceramic tint, and Dad's telling everybody how he's been a ceramic guy his whole life. 🤣
It only takes ONE family member to start the addiction!

The reality of running a business is that sometimes things don’t go perfectly. Mistakes happen. Unexpected things happen. And today, we had one.

While removing PPF from this fender so we could replace it, some of the clear coat came up with the film on a previously repainted panel.

Obviously, this isn’t the result we wanted, and it definitely isn’t the phone call you ever want to make to a customer.

But we’ve always believed that what separates a great business isn’t whether something ever goes wrong. It’s what they do when it does.

So we immediately contacted the customer, explained exactly what happened, took responsibility, and we’re going to make sure the fender is repaired properly at our expense.

No excuses. No trying to hide it. No pointing fingers.

We’ll make it right.

We post a lot of beautiful cars, flawless installs and finished products we’re proud of. But this is part of owning a business too, and we think customers deserve to see this side of it.

Our reputation isn’t built on never having a problem. It’s built on how we handle one when it happens.

And yes… this picture hurt us a little bit too. 😬

Sometimes the best quality control is catching somebody when they don’t know the camera is rolling. 🎥👌

My man is in there coating parts of the wheel the wheel didn’t even know it had. 🤣

No shortcuts. No “good enough.” Every spoke, every edge, every nook and cranny gets covered.

That’s the kind of thoroughness we have here at Cincy Tint Shop.

🏡🌊 Cincy Tint Shop took a little road trip to Cleveland!

We just got back from spending a few days working on this absolutely beautiful lake house, and we can confidently say… mobile tinting jobs don’t usually come with views like this. 😂

We installed EDGE Nature 30% on all of the glass, cutting down on heat and glare while still keeping those awesome lake views wide open.

We worked hard, enjoyed the scenery, and basically turned a lake house into Cincy Tint Shop headquarters for a few days. 😎

😂📲

Being out of town put us a little behind on leads, messages, and quote requests. We’re back home now and working our way through everything as quickly as possible, so if you’re waiting to hear from us, we promise we didn’t forget about you!

Here are a few pictures from the trip and some behind-the-scenes shots of us putting in the work. 💪
