After taking some time to think it over and talk it through after a recent opportunity, we’ve decided to shut down our Hereford location.
Opening in Hereford wasn’t something we had to force. The opportunity fell right into our hands on a random Saturday when we just happened to be in town. We were genuinely excited to take it on, and we wanted it to work.
Until recently, we had no real plans or discussions about closing this location. But just like we were presented with the opportunity to open our Hereford location, we were presented with an opportunity to exit our lease early. After discussing how difficult it’s been to maintain both locations with our schedules and the back-and-forth between Hereford and Amarillo, we decided to take it.
Fortunately, our business is growing, but that growth has been pulling us in the opposite direction from Hereford. We built our business around scheduled appointments, while the Hereford shop needed someone there consistently, whether anything was booked or not. We couldn’t give it the time and attention it needed to grow.
It’s a hard decision, but we’d rather take this one on the chin than keep trying to force something that isn’t working out for us.
To everyone who supported us in Hereford, we’re genuinely grateful. Thank you for welcoming us into your town and giving us the opportunity to earn your business. Our mobile unit is still active, and we’re happy to bring it to Hereford for booked appointments. You’re also welcome at our Amarillo shop, about 35 minutes away. We’ll welcome you with open arms, just as you welcomed us. 💎
