For broilers and turkeys, manganese is an essential trace mineral for animal health and performance. Manganese supports bone formation, enzyme activity, metabolism, immunity, and antioxidant protection. At adequate levels, manganese also helps prevent skeletal disorders such as perosis and leg weakness, especially in fast-growing birds. It also improves feed efficiency, growth, meat quality, and reproductive performance in breeder flocks.

Trace mineral source matters.

In a controlled university study, cows supplemented with LT4® complexed trace minerals maintained milk production more effectively than cows fed inorganic trace minerals, with less production decline over a 60-day period (P=0.01).

Higher production was achieved without depressing butterfat, while milk protein concentration and pounds increased. Reach out to our technical team to dig deeper into the data or discuss application.

We couldn't be more excited to announce that Cortney Lawrence has joined Global Animal Products as our Sales Account Manager for dairy & beef in California, Arizona & Nevada. Born & raised in the Central Valley of California, Courtney's ag roots run six generations deep - that's how long her family has been running their beef cow/calf operation. For the past 12 years, her career has been focused on Cattle Health in both the beef and dairy industries, representing pharmaceutical companies like Multimin USA and Elanco Animal Health.

With her husband also running his family's cow/calf operation, Cortney enjoys spending her free time with her family on the ranches, continuing the tradition of teaching their children about the importance of agriculture and working with livestock.

We're excited to share some novel research we’ve been working on with Dr. Kristin Hales and the team at Texas Tech University, examining the role of Zinmet® in finishing diets containing Experior®. The work is being presented this week at the Plains Nutrition Council Spring Conference poster session by Madelynn Baker, M.S. student at Texas Tech.

The study explores how mineral form may influence performance and carcass outcomes during late finishing, with some interesting observations related to feedlot economics and value capture.

It's exciting to see our team, including Allen and TJ, continuing to support research that helps producers get more out of their nutrition programs.
