This is an unfortunate post to be making. As some of you have noticed after calling the owners, we are not doing any more jobs for the unforeseen future. Our mechanic was in a motor vehicle accident at his other job in late October and his back is not doing too well.

We will continue business once he recovers after a long awaited surgery. Until then, we will gladly point you in the direction of other reliable mechanics that we are closely associated with!

With all this rain we’ve been getting here in Amarillo, be careful to steer clear of the puddles! If you end up getting stuck in a puddle, don’t kill your vehicle! Water could be sucked into your engine and hydro-lock it!

Came across something new today. Customer stated she had a oil leak from her 2015 ford explorer sport 3.5l turbocharged v6. No DTC’s. No check engine light. After an hour of inspecting the vehicle trying to find the source of the leak, I finally located it. Oil pressure switch was done for. Leaking from the casing behind the sensor where the connector plugs in. After her last oil change the warning popped up on dashboard saying oil pressure was low. Ford house was trying to charge her $1100 for part and labor. My price was $80.56 after the $20.56 part and my time. Don’t get scammed folks. Picture is after wiping off old connector
