Due to circumstances beyond our control Scott's Garage will no longer be part of the Elim Benefit car show.

We had a blast organizing and running this very popular and successful benefit car show the last 9 years! We started with a little over 60 cars back in 2011 and grew it to average about 235 cars for the last few years and averaged around $11,000 per show for the last few years.

We thank all of you who have helped by donating your time to volunteer, your food donations, your raffle prize donations!! We could not have made these shows a success without everyone's help!!! We appreciate everyone's help, family , friends, car people....everyone!!

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you about Jim.

James Funches's passing at the age of 74 on Friday, May 27, 2022 has been publicly announced by Angelus Funeral Home in Chicago, IL.

Jim was not only a friend and a friend of the shop, but an avid car guy all his life.

– Jim attended Muscle Car Adventures in the Dells and many cruise-night events…

Jim will be greatly missed.

I message from our good friend that DJ's our Elim car show.

I have a very good friend of mine who works at a retirement community. She reached out to me to see if anyone would be interested in coming out for about an hour with their car on Friday June 17th at 11:45 a.m. The residents, especially the men would love to see the old cars, and reminisce about the good old days. A very good lunch would be provided to you at no cost. The community is located in Palos Park, Illinois at
130th and 104th Avenue. The name is Peace Village. If I can get off work, I will attend. This would be a nice thing to do, and it's free, and you get a lunch. Please let me know if you can attend so I can let her know how many cars to expect. Thank you.
