The story behind Emc2 Front Lip Spoiler Adapter Kits
Most Porsche owners will know that there are unfortunately no OEM “Aerokit style” front spoiler options for standard Porsche bumpers.
Not wanting to use something aftermarket that didn’t blend well with the lines of the car, I decided to experiment with the newer generation 991 spoilers.
After a lot of research and testing, in 2015 I was the first to successfully install the (otherwise incompatible) 991 Sports spoiler on a 997.2 standard bumper by fusing the 997 lip mounting points to the 991 spoiler.
The process worked well, but was difficult to implement or reproduce.
