Another reminder to consumers WHY we are so particular about proper procedures. This windshield came out of a client's vehicle recently. There was literally near ZERO attachment over 75% of the way around of his front windshield when we removed it. It SHOULD have a 600-800psi shear strength bond, so the glass will provide up to 60% to additional roof support during a roll-over or when powerful airbags deploy in a frontal collision. These pics show the two bottom corners, one of which has NO bond, the other, the adhesive is so smeared it had no chance to bond at all. The rest of the circumference, we were nearly able to just push the glass out with our hands. Skipping proper procedures on glass preparation saved the previous installer about 15 minutes on the installation, but put lives at serious risk. The safety systems WOULD have failed miserably in a crash. Choose wisely who replaces your auto glass. Thank you to our clients to choosing us for over 4 decades.

It's come time again to remind consumers why a "cheaper", or "drive-by" installation may not be your best choice. Some installers are motivated by speed, not by proper procedures. This is a far too common result of those shortcuts in proper procedures. Remember your windshield is STRUCTURAL. It contributes as much as 60% of additional roof support during roll over, and IS the backboard for airbags when they deploy. If shortcuts compromise structural integrity of the bond, as in the photos below, then your safety will be at risk. Choose wisely. Thanks to our clients for choosing us!

Please be advised, the City of Alliance is going to shut down our power Tuesday morning March 14 to do line maintenance near us, so our abilities are going to be somewhat limited on what we can do in shop. We're not sure how our VOIP phones will be effected, or for how long. The UPS backups should survive for some of that time, but also be advised that our rollover to our Cell Phone should still work, so please allow time for incoming calls to roll over, it should take only 3 rings, then roll. If we can't answer multiple calls at the same time, Voicemail should kick in, please leave us a message and we will return your call ASAP. The expected outage may run until after lunch if they run into difficulties. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
