Take a walk around this giant Sprinter van with me!

When Jorge () inquired about having his mobile bike shop for detailed, I was excited to get my hands on it. I’ve been watching him support the rad dudes at the tracks and mountains for years; and as a former rad dude myself, I was super pumped to contribute to his presence as a bike scene ambassador. I love bikes, and I love cars.
Let’s get to work.

The once glossy black paint on this Sprinter arrived heavily oxidized, and faded. After many years in the sun, the finish had taken on a chalkboard appearance.
I know just how to fix that. A little machine polish, some slick wax, a lot of elbow grease, and a tall ladder since this thing is BIG.

After some hours with a buffer, the finish was transformed into a healthy, beaming glow. I was even able to revive the vinyl graphics adorning the body panels a bit.
Big win for a mobile unit like this. Gotta get that branding out there and standing tall!

I even sent my beloved mountain bike away with Jorge when he collected his van, so that he can perform some PRO service on my rig.

Audi RS3

Jack has been a client and friend of mine for about 4 years now. We met when he had some parts repainted on his awesome MK4 VW R32. The finish on said parts was lacking, and he contacted me to make it look like he actually paid money for the work.
Since then, Jack has enlisted me to work on even more black paint.

Enter this fire breathing 5 cylinder turbo RS3.
It wasn’t standing its tallest upon purchase, so next stop was here at RAD.

The car received a level 2 detail.
This sees a wonderfully tidied interior, and some mid level paint correction on the body.

After a strong hit with the old compound and polish, this little black rocket is a stunner.

2016 Audi S4

Erin has been a follower of mine since the days when I worked at an Audi dealer. About a million years ago, it feels like.
She’s been an ever present supporter; albeit via this app, for a lot of years.
Finally the time came for her Audi to have a stay with me after a trip to the body shop for a small repair.

Fresh off the streets of Philadelphia, the car had some scratches, swirls, minor dings and dents.

While it was here I had Paintless Dent Repair done to remove several sharp dings. Once flattened out, you’d really never know they were there.

Heavy rotary work in the compound stage brought this hard Audi finish back to life. After flattening and some spot sanding, the paint was refined with another round of fine polishing.

The wheels were then removed for deep cleaning of the barrels and brake/suspension components.

Once prepped, the car was coated from roof to rims.

It was an absolute honor and a pleasure to finally improve a vehicle for you, Erin.
Thank you for your support all this time!

This Audi also came to be the final paint correction and ceramic coating I would perform in this garage space.

After 3.5 years here, the time has come to move shops.

Thank you to anyone who came to my first location over the years. I spent 7 days a week there for just about every month I had the keys.
It taught me a ton.
I hope you will all follow along with me to the next location!

2023 BMW M5 Competition

My man Jeff got himself a new ride. This is the absolute baddest M5 to date.
Insane power. Menacing looks.
Refinement through all of it.

When I was learning to drive (legally, I drove motorized vehicles far younger), my Dad had an E39 M5. 394 naturally aspirated ponies pumping via 8 slugs up front.

This car is that, evolved.
617 horsepower, and that’s likely a conservative factory rating.

Anyway, you know the drill.

Maserati Quattroporte

This vehicle came to me through a family referral. The car was in rough shape paint-wise. With some refinished panels, and some originals that had been buffed super thin by previous handlers…I was faced with a challenge my industry calls “walking the line”
There are defects that would be too deep to remove, intermingled with panels that had not enough thickness left in the clear coat for heavy compounding etc.

After metering the entire car, and noting the thin/refinished areas, I set to work aiming for major improvement, but while treading lightly.
Rotary was the only way to achieve a stout cut, but not inflict too much stress on the finish.

Once cut down, the paint was polished out, refined, and ceramic coated to the sparkle you see here in these photos.

The wheels were also removed and deep cleaned along with brake calipers and components in prep for coating to be applied.

The interior was sanitized, and wiped clean from headliner to rugs.

All exterior glass was coated to match the performance of the paint, and wheels.

The last slides show original condition and some scary paint reading.

This big body sedan is rolling much taller now.
