We are looking to hire an experienced Tow Truck Operator and Light Duty Service
Operator to join our NEW towing company. We will require you to operate one of our
company vehicles and assist our customers with breakdowns, accidents and battery
service calls. Your duties will include driving to the site of the breakdown or accident,
assessing the damage or problem with the vehicle
and towing the vehicle to the location specified by the dispatcher.
To ensure success as a Tow Truck Operator and or a Light Duty Service Operator ,
you should have prior towing and mechanical experience accompanied by a clean
driving record, basic mechanical and be able to communicate
clearly with our customers. The proper candidate will also have an exemplary
customer service orientated approach and provide world class service on
every call that is completed.
Tow Truck/Light Duty Operator Responsibilities:
• Receiving communications from dispatcher.
• Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
• Interacting with the customer.
• Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires, installing batteries
• Towing the vehicle to an authorized location.
• Reporting and completing paperwork.
Tow Truck/Light Duty Operator Requirements:
• Experience with automotive maintenance
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics
