Ybn chains are one of my favorites. They're super durable compared to other brands - can go up to 8000km without wearing out your cogs. The chain coating is also really durable and never wears off. Plus, they offer flat top chains for both Sram and Shimano.

Here we go with a challenge that no shop wants to deal with. In 1993 Klein decided to make a frame that was press fit instead of threaded.

Problem:
Previous shop who assembled the bottom bracket pressed the bearings pass the retaining wall causing the bearings to shift inward overtime. The customer was complaining that there is to decide play in his cranks.

Solution:
Tap it with an Italian thread, which is 36x24 to accommodate the 35 mm ID of the bottom bracket.

Conclusion:
I don’t consider myself the best shop out there, but I do consider myself an individual that never hesitates to tackle the most difficult challenges. And always comes through with a solution that is permanent and aesthetically appealing.

The one advice I can give to any other shop out there facing similar challenges is:

Just because no one has done it before it doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. 🍻
