Race Day Update – July 17, 2026

As of 3:30 PM today, we have decided that the July 17 races are ON as scheduled.

We will continue to monitor the weather, air quality, and track conditions. If anything changes, we will post an update no later than 12:00 PM on Friday, July 17.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track!

With the current heat and smoky conditions, we’re looking for your input on Friday night’s races (July 17).

Would you prefer:

🏁 Race as scheduled
⏸️ Postpone to another date

The safety of our drivers, families, and volunteers is our top priority. Please let us know your thoughts in the comments so we can make the best decision for everyone.

We would like to thank Jamie Olson and Sara Wettstein for their time, support, and contributions to Runestone Raceway. We appreciate everything they have done and wish them the very best as they have resigned from the board.

With their resignations, we are now looking to fill two board member positions. If you’re passionate about helping grow Runestone Raceway and would like to get involved, please reach out to us for more information.

🏎️ 🦬 RUNESTONE RUMBLE PAYOUTS ARE IN! 🏎️ 🦬

The excitement is building, its our biggest race of the season! This Friday, July 17th, 2026 at the Runestone race way! 

Thanks to our amazing community, we have some incredible news regarding the purse. We have ADDITIONAL SPONSORS on board, which means even bigger payouts for our drivers:

$100 added to the Rookie Class 🏁

$500 added to Wing Classes, JR 1, and JR 2 🏆

$300 Donation + $300 Match for the Adult Class 🤝

This brings our grand total being paid out to a massive $4,965!💰

⚠️ Important Driver Note:
There is an 8 kart minimum per class required for the FULL payout ⚠️

🚨Classes with under 8 karts will receive a percentage payout based on the number of karts in that class🚨

‼️Adult class does NOT have a kart minimum‼️

Whether you’re chasing a trophy, a paycheck, or just some great racing, this is one you won’t want to miss! So what do we say let’s load up the trailer, tell your friends, and let’s pack the pits for an unforgettable night of racing!
